Not smart enough to understand blogging

I was typing out my blogs yesterday and it appears that I have 4 people out there that read every blog I post, which I think is really cool (obviously doesn't take much to impress me!).  But I may not understand what that number 4 means, as no one ever comments or anything on my blog.
